Why do people blog?

So, this is the first question that I'm going to take up here. "Why do people start blogging?" 

For me, it must about the freedom in the medium, and the reason that one hopes that people from anyplace in the world is going to read what you are going to write, and put some comments on the board.

Being responded to is a thing that hardly, I ever get in the real world. Virtual life fascinates me, and I'm here to overwhelm myself with that fascination until I have enough, and perhaps if I'm lucky, more. 

I guess, I'll be documenting my life, in the way I like and want, here and those I think are ample reason enough to make it special, at least for me. I'll be here once in a while, reading aloud from where I feel with.
